Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and what we never collect.
This policy describes what information Canadian Poppers collects when you use this site, what it is used for, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to deliver your order, we never see payment card details because we do not accept cards, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone.
What we collect
- Order details. When you place an order we collect your name, shipping address, and email address. This is used to fulfil and ship the order and to send you transactional email about it (confirmation, payment, tracking).
- Payment. We are paid by Interac e-Transfer between bank accounts. We never receive or store card numbers, banking credentials, or any payment instrument data. Your bank's records of a transfer show an ordinary person-to-person payment.
- Contact messages. If you write to us through the contact form we keep the message and your email address so we can reply and keep context for follow-ups.
- Cookies. The site sets a single session cookie that keeps your cart and login working. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or share customer information with third parties.
- We do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts.
- We do not embed content from other websites that could track you here.
- We do not send marketing email; the only email you receive from us relates to an order you placed or a message you sent.
Where your data lives
The site and its database are hosted in Iceland, a jurisdiction with strong statutory data-privacy protections. Transactional email is delivered through an email provider that processes the recipient address and message content for delivery purposes only.
Retention and removal
Order records are retained for bookkeeping. If you want the personal details on your account or past correspondence removed, send a request through the contact form and we will action it and confirm.
